Falco Peregrinus cassini
The pallid peregrine is an emblematic species which is native to Patagonia and is present in southern Chile and Argentina. Christian Gonzalez and his family have dedicated their breeding facility KREYENBORGI to study, breed and rehabilitate this species to help restore the normal level of populations which have been reduced due to urban development and illegal trafficking. The conference paper viewable through the link above gives further information regarding this.
